The Rule
One plan for the body, one for the table, one passage to read, and a room of men to answer to.
Men who want to be strong, steady, and kind. And who don't need anyone to notice.
nine27 is for men from 18 to 35 who want real discipline in their lives. You train hard, you eat with intention, you read Scripture, and you keep your word to yourself.
There's no shouting here and no posturing. The work is private and daily. The strength shows up in how you handle your temper, your appetite, your job, and the people who count on you.
The name comes from 1 Corinthians 9:27. Paul trained like an athlete so he wouldn't be the man who teaches others and fails himself. That's the standard.
Four disciplines. Check them off. Keep the streak.

The rhythm
Wednesday and Friday are the traditional Orthodox fast days. Monday is a full fast. Sunday is rest.
Before you join
Do I need a gym?
Strength sessions use a barbell, dumbbells, and a pull-up bar. Function sessions need little or nothing: a kettlebell, a backpack, a hill.
Do I have to fast?
The rhythm is there to follow, but you know your health. If you have a medical condition or take medication, talk to your doctor before a full fast.
Do I have to be Orthodox?
No. The fasting calendar follows the Orthodox tradition because it has worked for centuries. Any man who wants to read Scripture and do the work is welcome.
Is it on my phone?
Yes. It runs in your phone's browser today. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. Native iPhone and Android apps come next.
